Review on Replace Power® Replacement Upgrade ElanVita by Jamar Gow

I'm not sure if the item description was a typo or if I got a better end of the deal; but the PSU I received was 350w not 320w as listed. I wanted to wait about a month to give myself enough time to write a proper review. This purchase was to replace my original 250 watt power supply for my Shuttle XPC. 250W is pretty low and really limits you in terms of devices and expansion cards you can have in your Shuttle XPC. So, fortunately or unfortunately (depending on your point of view - lucky for me), my standard power supply is broken. Very happy with it! On top of that, I now have 100 watts more, which I haven't had for a long time. With the extra power, I was able to upgrade my graphics card to turn my XPC into a mid-range gaming system for less demanding games like RTS and MMOs. I would give this product 5 stars. I give this product 4.5 stars (unfortunately in the rating system; I can only give 4) because I had a small problem with this power supply; which has nothing to do with its functionality or reliability. My minor issue was that while it was a great upgrade from the original 250-watt PS; I was annoyed that it comes with the same number of power connectors. One old floppy power connector, 2 old 4-pin HDD/CD/DVD power connectors, and ONLY "2" SATA power connectors. I would have thought that with the extra power this PS would have at least a "3" SATA power connector. Just my 2 cents. However, since I had 3 SATA devices in my system (2 hard drives and a Blu-Ray drive), I was able to fix the problem by purchasing a SATA Power Y-Splitter. For those looking to upgrade or replace their old 250w power adapter, this is a great choice!
