Not designed for a baby for a long time

If it's just for the beach, great shoes. But if you're buying them for a water park or pool, the fabric will EASILY wear out. Imagine rubbing the rough side of velcro on a swimsuit and this is what it looks like.

Shoes are not suitable for cold water as they do not provide adequate thermal insulation.
