Very thin, light and not heavy
Bought this for my winter vacation in the Northeast. I like that it's cotton and not just polyester. Unfortunately, it didn't give me any extra warmth. It was light but stretchy and not as fitting as I expected. It stretched, bagged, and didn't retain heat like the fitted, lined thermal tops I'd also purchased. For me it's the top layer, not the bottom. It might be better to store for a chilly day, but I'd recommend only using it with a couple of coats when you're out in the snow.
