I was hoping to use it as an anti-glare filter and it partially does the job, but the cons are such that I no longer use it. Here are the biggest issues that bothered me: (1) the glue tabs that came with the kit don't work very well; The filter is so heavy that it moves the lower ones. Instead, I used very large rubber bands. (2) It vignettes the screen. Closer to the edges of the screen, the brightness drops off sharply unless I move my head to look directly in front of that part of the screen. It wouldn't be so bad on a smaller screen, of course. (3) This will cause some screen blurring. Everything is still legible, but nothing looks as sharp. (4) This will result in slight discoloration of colors. Everything looks a bit grey.
