This fixed a bad switch problem I had with my little giant drain pump. But. The built-in float does not activate this switch to activate the pump. Little Giant's genius designers claim that the switch in their signature version of this pump is different (better) than this one. And all others are used in an identical pump from other manufacturers. Although it looks the same as the one that broke after only a few years and has the same part number. Your switch is so good that it failed after two years and is no longer under warranty! It is unclear who actually makes the pump. At least three companies sell it as their own. You just change the color of the pump. There is blue, green and black. There are probably others. However, apart from color, they are identical in every way. In each case the solution was to remove the built in float and install an external float and leave the new switch in the on position. Now the pump is running great.
