This dress was perfect for Thanksgiving. I bought it in two different colors for my two daughters. I washed them on a delicates cycle and hung them up to dry after the gentle cycle, the skirts don't bunch up as I feared. I did not wash the bands that came with the kit. My daughters felt very comfortable in them and they looked beautiful. Nana never stopped praising her beautiful dresses. My youngest is 18 months old wearing 24 month old clothes. I ordered her size 2-3 years. She was great in her, I think it will suit her perfectly this time next year. My 3 year old daughter wears 3-4T. I bought her a size 4-5 and it fits her perfectly. The belt loops were a little high but I made up for that by tying the bows a bit poorly, my youngest didn't want to let go of the bow. sit pretty anyway so it didn't really bother me. They were perfect for the occasion.
