Review on ๐Ÿš— Enhance In-Car Air Quality with FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter - CF11171 for Hyundai / Kia Vehicles by Damian Lousteau

Revainrating 5 out of 5

SALON FILTER. A necessary and often overlooked quick fix for the Hyundai Santa Fe - and most of your vehicles.

Once you figure out how to lower the glove box to access the cabin filter, you should check it regularly and replace it at least every two years. Quick-lube service stations (and full-service garages that offer specialty oil change services) check that everything is OK, but they don't actually check. They don't have the time or inclination to empty your glove box, rip open the drawer/garbage door (at the risk of breaking something), check the filter, stock up on all the spare styles, and talk you into swapping. See for yourself. Mine was surprisingly dirty, plus it was covered in maple seeds. VERY IMPORTANT: After inspecting and cleaning the cabin filter, make sure to put it back in the right direction. Otherwise, any dirt will be sucked into your air conditioner and, according to Hyundai's owner's manual, can "cause damage". By the way: this Hyundai design consists of two interlocking filter plates, the configuration required to insert them individually into a small opening behind the glove box.

Pros
  • REMOVES IRRITANT SUBSTANCES: Various particles such as dust and pollen can accumulate in your car. These subtle irritants can affect all passengers, but FRAM's cabin air filter filters out 98% of pollutants.
Cons
  • Don't remember
