Bypass pin sucks on parts

Well, first of all, this carb really works. I just adjusted the idle screw a bit and now my 2002 Polaris Magnum 325 is purring like a kitten. This ATV sat in the Florida elements for 10 years without running or moving. I ordered this carburetor because I know the old carburetor was junk from sitting too long. The first carburetor I got from this company worked great, but it kept leaking gas from the overflow pipe. So I disassembled the carburetor and found that the pin needle was not seated properly and the gas float was not parallel to the gasket when flipped. So I requested a replacement carburetor and when I got it, the first thing I did was check the needle and float, then adjust the float and check the needle dozens of times to make sure that carburetor wasn't leaking. my garage all the time. The second carburettor works well, does its job and has just adjusted the idle screw. The only problem with this company's second carburetor is at idle. Engine vibration still causes the pen's needle to bounce up and down, causing gas to escape from the overflow. But when the quad is off, it doesn't leak out of the overflow like the last one. I added an extra piece of hose so I had enough length to run the hose between the engine and transmission to a hole in the frame to let the excess gas into the ground. I'm going to buy a few different float pin needles to see if I can find one that will keep gas from escaping at idle. Save your time and money overall and just buy an OEM carburetor rebuild kit.
