Review on ⚡ Enhanced Power Protection: Monster HTS 3500 MKII Reference PowerCenter (No Longer Produced) by Steve Guillen

Monster does not support DIRECTV High Def

I bought this unit because I needed a surge protector. I could have bought a cheap surge protector for $50, but given the $160 cost of this device, it was a bargain. I wanted to protect the new Samsung DLP, Home Theater and the new H20 DirectV HDR. This is a solid metal object, and the voltmeter and indigo glow are a topic of discussion. I noticed a voltage swing from 115 to 120 at home. Why 2, well to my surprise one of the satellites doesn't register directly. It wasn't until I unplugged the satellite coax cable from the monster device and plugged it directly into the directv h20 dashcam that it registered. I would assume that all monster devices have the same problem regardless of cost as the development will be the same. Too bad, given the monster's reputation, it would be better to buy a cheaper device.h
