Have had a Dyson for 12 years. Now I must have ruptured 8 hoses, which seemed infinitely tedious and expensive. When my DC07 finally got dusty (and the hose broke for the fifth time) I replaced it with a DC33. Aside from other quality issues I have with this machine, my number 1 complaint was that I found the hose to be very tight and would not expand easily (the machine would fly at me if I tried to lengthen the hose and slapping the back of my ankle!) Dyson assured me it would loosen up over time. Fast forward 2 years with my DC33 and it doesn't get any weaker AT ALL. Last week I used a hose with a dusting brush on a stick and found I had no suction. The hose broke in 5 places above. I couldn't get a new hose quicker than ordering this Prime so I ordered. It's a million times better than any Dyson factory hose I've ever had! It's nice, soft and stretches very easily. I feel like I should buy a replacement part if I can't find it again. Feel free to order!
