My only regret is not finding and buying this 18 months ago when I started working from the couch. I held my laptop on my lap. with a pillow but recently started to overheat due to the fans not circulating air. This solves this problem! I place my laptop on my feet on a pillow stand and not only does this keep my computer happy, but the keyboard is in a much more ergonomic position than before and the webcam angle is much more flattering. This works great on a desk, countertop, or kitchen table. It folds almost flat - I can put it in my laptop carrying case along with the laptop itself. There are 6 different angles/heights you can adjust the stand to, so lots of versatility. At the bottom there are limiters, and in the middle there are conveniently placed silicone pads that prevent the laptop from slipping. BUY IT. That's great. And inexpensive!
