Review on ๐Ÿ“ Raspberry Pi 4 3 B+ Pi Zero RPI HiFi AMP HAT TAS5713 Amplifier Audio Module 25W Class-D Power Sound Card Expansion Board with Nichicon Capacitor for Enhanced Performance by Tammy Stephens

Useful lower powered alternative to Hifiberry AMP2

I can't speak about longevity yet but performance wise it's pretty good. I bought it to drive a low power in wall speaker. I also have a hifiberry AMP2 that I use to power some bookshelf speakers. As a test, I connected one speaker to AMP2 and another to this board and didn't see much of a difference. I haven't done an exhaustive sound quality comparison as they don't play well with audiophile speakers, but for typical consumer grade bookshelf speakers and low to mid volume levels this board performs reasonably well. I hooked this up to a Raspberry Pi Zero W using piCorePlayer and it worked in about 5 minutes.
