Review on Light Duty Lashing Straps 2 Pack by Andrew Frison

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They have cam locks for light loads or bindings and reinforcements; They snap on and off easily - ideal for trash cans

Nylon straps are well made and strong. The clasps are easy to tighten ", but they aren't that secure on their own and can give way if enough force is applied to them - just pull on them, we've seen they don't actually latch. They remind me of military style belt buckles. My husband was convinced that it wasn't such a big deal because he says he has better ones that just slide onto the ends that can be used to actually attach them and they have the advantage of not requiring as much pumping to get them to get them tight. I wouldn't trust them with heavy loads, but our main use is to secure some of the big trash cans we use to haul sawdust or trash. It's fine for those Loads or to protect your pool although you want to use more than 2. They are only good for light loads and protecting things. The benefit is that they are VERY easy to pull and tighten and easy to put on and take off, but for heavier loads you will need thicker RACHET tie downs instead. I give them a 4 because they are really good for what they are made for and real straps are a good length, well made, fairly strong and very strong material.
