Review on JBL Flip 4 Teal: The Ultimate Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker by Jiang Anson (Jiang J ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

During the course of the past year, I've relied on it heavily. It stays on all night in the country on the weekend and doesn't stop until the battery dies, or till morning. On a subjective comparison to other JBL speakers, I find the efficiency to be 110%. These lesser sizes are vastly superior in quality and volume to their more pricey counterparts (an order of magnitude more expensive). My friends' Xtreme 3, Boombox 2, and my own BASS PRO GO all do a better job of reproducing the music than my iPhone, but I still can't remove the impression that something is amiss and that things have been muted. The BASS PRO GO is popular among my buddies. When you're feeling that way, all you have to do is look at these speakers to see that your money was well spent. Although I agree that the sound is noticeably superior to that of the Flip 5, the bass, and the top, it is not good enough; the music should be played more forcefully and at a larger volume. Whoa, your eyes are playing a trick on you! Even though the result states that something was "not reported" and you saw something "with a capital letter," you still don't have all the answers you need. The money put into Flip 5 has been returned to the owners. When I first bought it for my son, I wasn't really excited about it, but after giving it a try, I was pleasantly delighted. In social circumstances, expressing astonishment is shorthand meaning "don't say anything stupid." Everything you see and everything you hear is exactly how it looks, and no compliment is intended. An old proverb goes something like, "a little flea and biting."

Pros
  • The sound is not only as good as expected, but considerably better. Easily moved from one place to another; self-contained; and simple to operate.
Cons
  • There is an one possible drawback. This speaker is not compatible with any other JBL models. Only a connection to the same speaker makes sense. A minus column continues to operate, even when set to mono (of course there is a concept of price).
