It is durable and serves its purpose. However, I measured my sink before purchasing to make sure it would fit. The bottom half fits snugly in the center of the bowl, but as the top half slides down, it gets tighter and tighter. It sticks out about 3/4 inch from the center of the sink. I'm so tired from moving that I don't care. I tried to bend it but it won't bend. Sometimes it jumps up more and I have to press hard on it again. any difficulty. But it really keeps the sponge strong and durable. Just remember that the top is narrower than the bottom.
