This is the only one of its kind that I could find. What's so unique? Is the fact that each block of 3 sockets is connected to its own connector on the back. It doesn't matter to most of us, but if you have a dual-wire wall outlet, like those outlets you might have in your bedroom for bedside tables that are controlled by a wall switch, you're very well catered for. You can say you can leave the lamp on the switch controlled half and use a 3 port extension for the other half. However, this means that when you plug something in via an extension cord, you need two hands so you don't unplug it along with everything else. This is not possible as it is attached to the socket with a central screw.
