Review on Stylish Dark Bronze Piano Mate Desk Lamp by Lite Source Inc: LS-398D/BRZ by James Cross

Pros: Great value for money piano lamp - most I've seen are over $100. So you can adjust the light on the side as low as you like - Balance is good - I tilted the lamp fairly low and it showed no signs of wanting to tilt Cons: - Lampshade is two fingers wider than the T -Bulb making it difficult to screw the bulbs in. Lamp does not look good -Dark bronze finish has no luster The areas where it has been rubbed to show the lighter bronze finish underneath are done too intentionally - this lighter finish shows through *only* at the corners and edges where it has been rubbed and nowhere else, rather than having a 'textured' view would have seen the typical oiled bronze finish - The lampshade is not ru nd which may not be visible in the photo. Look closely and you will see that the screen is made up of a series of flat sides. Each corner of the lampshade has been scuffed to reveal a lighter bronze finish. The result looks rather thin. Wall to the left of the piano. I am returning this lamp for a refund. While functional, it just doesn't look good on my piano. Three stars because I think it fills a need, but the performance isn't great.
