This cable works well after installing the correct drivers. The link provided by the seller in the description is broken so I had to google radioddity website and snoop around to find the correct drivers for windows 10. You need to connect the cable, go into the device manager and look for an unknown USB device that has a yellow sticker attached. You need to uninstall it, then unplug the cable and install the downloaded drivers, then plug the cable back in and Windows will see it properly. Without drivers, Windows won't see it. I almost sent the cable back because I thought it was bad. Would force the radio into stable transmission and Windows would refuse to assign the correct communication port. Once I have the right drivers it works fine. I don't know if this needs to be done for previous versions of Windows that I had to do for my Windows 10. You can bet I'll keep the drivers in case a Windows update messes them up and requires a clean install.
