Review on 🍿 Disney DCM-60CN Mickey Mouse Popcorn Popper: A Colorful 6-Cup Delight! by Heather Lawson

Big disappointment.

The only good thing about this product is its looks. It appears VERY slowly. I genuinely feel like they owe me a bag of popcorn beans for wasting so much. This was a Mother's Day gift for my wife which arrived 2 weeks late and 5 days after Mother's Day. First they said they were on their way, then they said they would have to wait to know the delivery date. It took about 8 minutes for him to start popping anything, never popping more than 25% of the grains than what my mom gave me (West Bend Air Crazy), popping at least 75-80% every time, and all Cores were equal to a bag (brand bag). I made 3 servings for others before this one started burning seeds (again) and only filled 25% of the bowl/lid. At my friend's, all the popcorn uses the hot air and pushes it into the bowl. , so if you step back for a second, the popcorn won't burn. In this case, the popcorn stays in the lid/bowl the whole time, so the popped kernels get digested while they wait for the rest to pop. Then you have to wait for the super hot bowl/lid to cool down. Also, you need to apply oil to the kernels before they burst. You put the lid back on the bowl/lid to keep the oil from leaking out, but it leaks so horribly you can't even put butter or oil on it. Technology sucks. I thought it was defective so I sent it back and the second one was exactly the same. This should be discontinued or made by another company. It's a shame, because otherwise it's nice to look at.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old
Cons
  • A bit of variety
