I am totally smitten by this skirt. I will be wearing it in Paris and it is the perfect amount of EXTRA that I need in my life! The skirt is lined and has 5-6 layers of can can material. It is not sewn in a staggering way to exaggerate or layer the skirt but all 5 rows are sewn at the waist the exact length. Make sure you fluff the skirt out to give it the desired look! I am 5'10, size 16 and my skirt fit me perfect. It drapes the floor, even with heels. The elastic waist band also does not dig in my skin.The skirt is shipped in a resealable plastic bag, so if you're traveling, the bag is perfect to put the skirt back in. Unfortunately I found the bag to be of poor quality because the zipper broke, so a Ziploc bag will serve the same purpose.
