Have been using this seaweed with 2 dogs for almost 5 years! (I use it with Lifeline fish oil. Pour fish oil over food, stir, then sprinkle seaweed on top.) Our lab husky mix caused skin irritation every fall and was recommended by the pet store. It has no particular odor and resembles dried parsley. Apparently it tasted ok because she ate it sprinkled over her kibble well before I started giving her fish oil and she licked all the bits off the bottom of the bowl. She no longer had skin problems and once I started giving her fish oil her coat was always shiny and soft all year round. We had a puppy after she passed away this year and I have continued my daily routine with her. Both enjoyed the daily doses and our vet agrees we give both of these supplements.
