Rescuer! - Collars, Harnesses & Leashes

February 6th, 2020: We have an Aussie/Heeler mix who is addicted to TV. My father lives with us and watches a lot of westerns. The dog barks at horses, cows, pigs, chickens, bad boys, good boys, you get the idea. He also barks at dogs in commercials. His favorite commercial, which he hates, is a Plexiderm commercial with close-ups of people's eyes. Oh my God. he hates it I had to put barriers in front of the TV furniture to prevent them from digging in their claws and scratching the huge gouges in the front, albeit a bit late. Enter the Bark Collar. We only used it for a few days but oh my god what a difference! He barks at the TV a few times and the collar beeps. He stops and sits down in his kennel. It's a miracle. We have previously used other vibrator/shock collars that had a remote control. But if you don't have the remote in hand when the unwanted behavior occurs, it's practically useless. In that case, just put it on the dog and go about your business. He does all the work. So happy. The only reason I gave it four stars is because we've only been using it for a few days. Not sure about durability or battery life yet. But now totally impressed with the functionality.

Pros
  • Great for a Small Home
Cons
  • Questionable Purchase for Seniors
