Lasted about a week. My old professional marine scale started to flicker and oscillated between a few ounces. I realized that this scale was very good value compared to my 25 year old digital scale (it cost me almost $1,000 at the time). Well, this weighing system doesn't weigh the same thing every time. It eventually started drifting a few ounces and there were different dates depending on where the item was placed. When he finally lost a few pounds, I had had enough. I have other smaller scales and I know they are accurate. This weight is not accurate and is difficult to determine as it depends on where the item is on the table, which shouldn't matter. What I mean is that two inches one way from center and two inches the other way gives two different weights from center and the center is not exact.
