Soldering the copper pipe was a great success.

A handy flashlight for every purpose for the price. I'm a retired plumber and recently had to replace a section of copper plumbing that broke in my house. I decided to try this instead of using my turbo light. It worked great with mapp gas, the flame maintains a tight pattern and the solder flows instantly. I'm not sure how long the flashlight will last, but I was impressed by the way it did this little job.
