One USB after the other! for extension cords

A simple extension cord that I use for my daughter's desk and electronics. However, as another buyer mentioned, you really only want to connect one USB device at a time. I tried charging 2 phones at the same time and they both made chiming noises like they were firing every 20 seconds. As soon as I disconnected a device, the sound stopped.
