I bought this fan because I knew it didn't work miracles. It is very hot in my kitchen because the sun shines on the glass door all day long, even when the blinds are closed. The electricity in my apartment isn't the best, so I wanted something I wouldn't have to plug in to keep the temperature down while I make dinner and clean up afterwards. Then my son takes it to his room at night to reduce the heat and sleep. When the battery needs to be recharged or the ice packs aren't as effective, his room is so cool that it's no longer a problem. For all these tasks, this little device does an excellent job. When I ordered it, there were cracks in the cold packs, which I didn't notice at first. I filled them up thinking the water was under them from splashes or something, I wiped them off and put them in the freezer. So, with the fan loaded, the ice packs frozen, we put it in the kitchen for dinner, and after a while, when we checked it over to see how it was working, we found that the tiny cracks had actually completely disappeared were. through. At that point I contacted customer service and attached photos which they replaced within a week. After repeating the process and spending a few days doing it, I can definitely say that this was a purchase that I do not regret. The cap used to fill the ice packs was definitely difficult to remove, and the plastic triangle that came with it actually started cracking because the cap wouldn't budge, so I used a butter knife to pry it open. and how little space they cool, but I do not regret the purchase because it perfectly met my expectations. Also, the customer service was excellent.
