Very pleasant material. My cat didn't mind at all.
Great stuff and did the job. Although it stretched a bit, it held its shape. Since my cat has moved around in it quite a bit over time and it kept healing, I had to wear the suit at times. But it's easy to clean and she didn't seem upset. She just wanted to take a bath and it probably got her a bit frustrated that she couldn't, but other than that I recommend that instead of the cone.
