Initially I was a bit skeptical about iSUPs in general as I wasn't entirely sure if they could work near a solid board or if the reviews were legit. Even though I've only had it a week, I'm happy so far. (I bought it mainly for my girlfriend) The board is very light and that's one of the advantages of iSUP and that's why I chose this board - the lightest I can find at Revain for this size (I don't know whether it sacrifices rigidity or durability). Having swum 4 times at the local lake I find it good for paddling in my spare time and good value for money. Pros: * Weight. I have a 12'6 carbon board that only weighs 24 pounds but this one seems a lot lighter than this one. I think you can really tell the 7 pound difference. It is essential for kids or little women to carry around and also for travel. * Easy to assemble. It takes me an average of 5 minutes to inflate the board to around 14psi (I've tried 5 times so far). It's relatively easy to get to 10psi and then get a little harder with each additional psi. It wasn't a big problem for me but my girl said she needed to rest before going in the water. As some other reviewers have pointed out, the pump feels cheap. I don't know how long this can go on. It's not a two stage or dual chamber hand pump (like Red's titanium pump), I can't tell if they make life any easier. My plan is to buy an electric pump for my girl so she doesn't get tired before paddling without me. And I suggest buying an electric one if you have more than two boards. * Stability. It couldn't be more stable for a 33" wide board. I don't feel any difference between an inflatable SUP and a rigid one in terms of stability, if not better. *Additional. Besides paddle, backpack, fins, pump and repair kit I found comes with a safety lanyard and a waterproof phone case in the package which is not usually included with other brands. They are not that expensive but will save you time and $30 and make them really ready to use. However, the waterproof phone case will not pop open.Cons: The paddle is heavy. Well that's not a fair comparison because I'm comparing it to my $$$ carbon fiber paddle. I can confirm that it floats on water (how long I'm not sure, < 30 minutes?) *Not for the experienced Rowers It's great for relaxing or yoga, but not for serious riders as it flexes a lot when the back, shoulders, arms and abs are involved in the row.
