This scoop is great for scooping up coffee from the bottom of a bag or can. The stamped steel is quite thick and doesn't stain (washes up well in the dishwasher). The shovel feels solid thanks to the good 3-point welds between the handle and the parts of the shovel shell and the thickness of the steel (18/10). The way the handle is stamped, the top is slightly convex (good) and the bottom is slightly concave (not perfect). I would give the product 5 stars if the pen had smoother edges and a flat or convex bottom. and if the handle and bowl were one piece and not welded. This shovel is longer than most, but not as long as advertised. Overall length: 7 5/8 inches. Length of a handle: 5 3/4 inches. Bowl: 1 7/8 inches. The bottom of the bowl is slightly smaller.
