Espresso Supply Stainless Steel 1 Ounce Review

This is a great little spoon. I like the long handle and flat bottom. Another spoon I own has a rounded base, which makes espresso a little harder to press down. This shovel is also slightly larger than the other one. With my old shovel I had to make sure the bottom was well rounded on top. With this scoop I give it a little shake so it overflows a little and seems to be the right amount. It's more convenient for me to measure with this spoon, so I prefer it.

There is basically nothing wrong with this bucket. But it's not ideal for me because it's too long to fit in the canister I keep my ground coffee in. It's also a bit bigger than my other (perfect) scoop which broke :( so my measurements don't work right now until I figure out the exact equivalent of what I usually do. Picky? Maybe spend on a teaspoon, I needed it to be just right. Now I'm still looking for another new spoon.

I love this coffee spoon. I use a 32 ounce french press and the scoop I used was smaller than this scoop - it was a nearly a tablespoon scoop, not an ounce. I only use 4 shovels on this big shovel, not the 7 shovels I used on my old shovel. So this big shovel is more convenient. This shovel is made of stainless steel and is well made. It does not bend easily, so it is durable. The handle is longer than my old scoop so you get less grounds on your hands when scooping grounds out of a coffee bag.

This scoop is great for scooping up coffee from the bottom of a bag or can. The stamped steel is quite thick and doesn't stain (washes up well in the dishwasher). The shovel feels solid thanks to the good 3-point welds between the handle and the parts of the shovel shell and the thickness of the steel (18/10).
