I, like many others here, bought this HD to replace the tiny 60GB hard drive that came with my PS3 as I was tired of making room for DLC. I am 100% satisfied. This is a great buy if you're only looking to upgrade your PS3 for a fraction of the price of a brand new PS3, especially if you got one of the smaller ones with full PS2 and PS1 backwards compatibility at launch. and you don't want to buy a newer, larger device that lacks this feature.
