Dissatisfied with this security camera product

I am not satisfied with this. Your WiFi must be on a 2.5GHz network instead of 5GHz. I'm not tech savvy and I don't know how to change it. I'm sure I could google it or ask someone who would know, but it annoys me that I have to do this to make it work. I bought it because I was afraid my ex would break into my house. He actually entered my house and I had no evidence to show the police because the camera wasn't working because my WiFi was on 5GHz.
