Review on Exploring Creativity with Melissa Doug Reusable Water Reveal: Chunky Size Arts & Crafts by Mike Rice

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was very pleased with the longevity of this

I was very pleased with its durability. I have students with a behavior that throws and puts things in their mouths, so I was concerned that this would break pretty quickly. The sides are thick and reusable, and the brush is fairly durable too (although the bristles are a bit curved, but that's to be expected given the frequency and intensity of use). When we paint with watercolors or use tempera, there is always a fear that the student will put these materials in his mouth. Allowing these students to be more independent was a great element for my class as I was less concerned about mouth water than paint (not that I wanted a brush in my mouth in the first place, but it was definitely less messy ). . and I was less afraid to swallow something poisonous). It's easy to fill the brush with water, but it's also good that it lasted a few pages (maybe 5 minutes), which also made the transition a bit easier.

Pros

Cons
  • Slightly torn
