They are good but need help assembling. First remove the white pads from the bottom of the chair seat and place them on the legs to protect the floor. Then glue one side of the black rings to the bolt holes you just removed the pads from. Be very careful to hold the leg in place as you begin to screw in the first screw and washer. They don't start easy, so be patient. Give it only a few turns, don't over-tighten. Repeat on another, then come back and tighten. I bought them from stock and one chair was scratched (I knew beforehand). I was able to successfully repair it with Color Smart multi-layer acrylic paint, but ended up painting the entire surface as the color appeared a bit darker (use in different rooms). Hope that helps.
