These boot straps do the job, but they're not the most comfortable thing in the world to wear. Now I only wear them with a pair of very loose boots. They are a bit difficult to adjust when the cleats are on the side of the foot. With loose boots, I have a bit of wiggle room to slide them forward or back until I get them into a position that doesn't put too much pressure on my foot. With a tighter shoe, I think it will be a little more difficult. I have also only worn them in the shortest length which means the piece of metal used to adjust is not under your foot. If you stretch them too much, the metal clip will be under your foot and not very comfortable when walking. They're pretty easy to put on and so far the clips feel pretty solid and don't slip at all. I haven't seen any others with better designs so I'll stick with these for now.
