Let me start by saying I'm a music lover. I am looking for a pair of speakers for my computer. Creative labs are best described as musical. Obviously with a 2.0 system and 28W the speakers have limitations. They play loud enough for me in my guest room. If you're the type who cranks up the bass and treble to hear speakers, then you should look elsewhere. Creative labs aren't going to rock your entire apartment building. Within limits they play very well. I can listen to speakers for hours and really enjoy them without getting tired. bass is enough. You can hear bass guitars etc but don't expect the speakers to shake the wall.
