If I could give ZERO STARS I would. This was an absolute hit that I bought as a Christmas present. It stops working and won't charge after 1 month of use. Contacted Philips customer service, they were very helpful (I think they know they sell junk) and immediately sent a new pen and then a new charging base. Neither one nor the other solved the problem. At the moment, this is nothing more than an expensive and complicated manual toothbrush. The best advice I can give is to just buy Oral B which runs on AA batteries. Nothing seems to solve the problem. Trying to turn it on results in nothing but a series of four beeps, TWICE clusters of flashing lights and then nothing. You might as well face the fact that it was a bad investment and a bad buy. Lesson learned, never buy anything from Philips again. Worst Christmas present and purchase I have ever made.
