Review on AUSTOR 345 Self-Tightening Sander Drum by Doug Layman

I bought this kit to widen the pickup cavity in the bass guitar. The mandrel is of acceptable quality, the rubber is solid, and the sanding rollers fit snugly in their bolts. The sandpaper is of good quality and didn't tire out in testing when I "squeezed out" 2mm MDF. I bought a small roomy plastic container to sort and store them in. I actually had to count the quantity, which was wrong compared to both the Revain picture and the 345 listed in the description. In any case, with the count ending with +/- on a few grains, I lost 15 pieces. Revane sent me the missing parts a day later. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.
