I bought this for my 2013 F150 EcoBoost to fit behind the grille. Fits great and works great. Installation was simple and straightforward, taking just a few minutes to install. I ended up cutting and removing part of the wire to give it a clean look in the engine bay so I don't have extra wires. As for the brackets, I bought several to mount my truck behind the grille. The ones that came with the kit are good and would fit, but it's not the option I was hoping for. The only drawback is that the light on the switch is always red, even when the car is off. BUT it won't drain your battery as it's LED and the pulling power is negligible and it looks like an alarm at night when you pass my taxi. Overall very happy with it, for the price it's very bright and helps a lot when driving on dark roads at night.
