My 13 year old son needs a lot of vestibular stimulation and loves to swing. He's a growing boy - 6ft 1in, 160lbs - but this swing is just right for him. We built a commercial size and style 12 foot swing so we had to add more chain, but the chain gauge at the hardware store that best suits the swing is 600 pounds which says a lot about the quality of the materials used to make them the swing is made from. The plastic coating of the chainstays is durable and the saddle is bombastic. Very happy with the heavy construction of everything as my son quickly wore out lighter products.
