Became my favorite workhorse

I've been using this for about a year now and apart from a few minor things it's probably my favorite drill I've ever used. Well balanced and light weight even when used with a 6Ah battery (definitely recommend the 6Ah battery instead of the usual small 1.5Ah battery as it offers a bit more power and run time and getting the stand up relieved). This is a versatile drill that works surprisingly well as a hammer drill, handles larger drills and small to medium sized hole saws well and has proven strong and durable so far. It has a unique property that they never mention as it spins slowly when using the screw torque settings. I thought it sounded useless and nobody else has done it, but I found it a pretty useful feature when driving a screw without a pilot hole or when the interface between the bit and screw looks sloppy. The downsides are pretty minor and include the flare LEDs (they work and are bright enough to help, but the cold blue tint of low-tech, old-school emitters is too big for even large hands (it's not uncomfortable , but takes some getting used to and I haven't seen/felt any advantage to using it over almost every other smaller, regular sized handle bit).Although they do include a strong hook, there is no bit holder on this tool and it's annoying to have a 3D Printers have or can use, Thingaverse has several plans for bit holders that fit this tool, I made one for myself and it's great (if you have one try making it out of ABS or similar plastic instead of the typical PLA, which is weaker and can break.) Like others, I was a little surprised and dismayed to find the tool in a plain brown box with no Milwaukee markings and no P paperwork arrived. ments/documents inside. I was afraid I might have received a counterfeit or remanufactured tool or something, so I contacted Milwaukee directly and they assured me it was a new and legitimate tool and there would be no future warranty or service issues should. Great job, great exercise. If possible, try a 6 Ah battery.
