Review on 🔧 Enhanced-Performance SHIMANO Single-Speed Freewheels by Christopher Gulledge

UPDATE: Added video to show how quiet this one is compared to others :) The first thing that struck me about this ratchet was that it was a bit stickier than my old ratchet. Not much, but it was noticeable. I believe this is due to the (probably) thicker lube used in this one. BUT. You can only really tell the difference by rotating it with your finger. WILL NOT matter if it's on your bike. You won't be able to tell. I have a pretty powerful electric bike and with my old freewheel it made a loud clicking noise when I wasn't pedaling (like 99% of all bikes do). But this one is just incredibly quiet. I really only hear it when someone else is riding my bike, and then only when they pass very close to me (and I have to listen for that. It's also very smooth. No snags or anything. Read in Other reviews have said, that it clicks but that's definitely not the case with the one I received so if you get one with a loud clicking noise I'd send it back and get another one. Could be defective or something. Conclusion: I'm driving now 25 years of cycling and this is by far the most SILENT ratchet I have ever used on it. Definitely a lot quieter than anything they had at the bike shop. So great. Better than I expected. Very happy with this purchase : ) I hope it will be useful for someone!
