Very Nice Quality! - my new review

I have a standard poodle (50 pounds) who is physically capable of jumping a four foot fence, but is a little too daft to realize it. He is put on a tied out just in case he accidentally figures it out during potty breaks (my dogs are indoor unless potty or supervised play time only). Sergio was used to having 40 feet to use for bathroom breaks, but his sister likes to run right to the edge and dart off to tease him. The ties pits I’ve purchased in stores are usually a much thinner gauge, snapping eventually after 6-12 months. That’s just what happens to things like this that are left outside. I’ve only been using this for a couple days, but out of the box, it’s far passed my expectations. It’s a nice thick, heavy duty gauge. The clasps twist and lock shut. Serge really enjoys having a full 100 feet to run most of the yard in. This cable is so strong, he wrapped it around the fire pit, and dragged it clear across the yard, at least 50 feet, growling at it, thinking it was chasing him-I said he wasn’t the brightest. But he’s mine! And I’m glad he’s safe with this tie out.

Pros
  • Highly versatile for various outdoor activities
Cons
  • The cable could obstruct the dog's vision when attempting to move around
