Keeley sandals fit my 2 year old despite warnings from other reviewers. The shoes are really cute, light weight and easy to put on and take off. However, my daughter keeps tripping and catching her toes because the material around the toe of the shoe is too soft. If she doesn't fully raise her leg and scrapes the toe of her boot on the concrete or a slightly sticky ground, the boot will bend down and under her foot, causing her to fall. This resulted in too many rides for my comfort. The strap that goes over the toe is also too soft and if the shoe is flexed in any way the toes slip out every time. The shoes are true to size but always slip due to the material and construction of the shoes. This caused the toe of the shoe to start cracking a bit after only a few months. The rest of the shoes are ok though. Thankfully, she's learned to properly lift her leg while walking, and now the walks occur less and less. In the future I will only buy children's crocs with closed toes to avoid this. In addition, the material is porous and gets dirty quickly. It's easy to wash since it's not fabric, but it doesn't get completely clean either. I have to clean my shoes thoroughly to remove the stains but they still don't come out 100% clean. The velcro is very flimsy and I don't think it will last very long. I would also like to mention that one of the other reviews said that the Velcro digs into her child's foot. It's just user error, because hello. The velcro is very long and adjustable. Just loosen it up. This strap never digs into my child's fat foot.
