This is a great little thing for what I needed. I use it to remotely turn on and off an ultrasonic generator that is outside in my garden. I turn it on when the neighbor's dog starts barking. An ultrasonic squeak lets the dog enter. I only gave four stars because the 12 volt batteries in the remotes were only rated for 10 volts so I bought spare batteries. The remotes use a #27 battery. I also connected a few feet of wire to a fairly short bounty wire. This gave me a much better range.
