Does not work with Crucial SSD.

I bought this to clone a spinning SATA drive to a new SSD for my laptop. Even though the old drive and the new Crucial SSD are shown, the Crucial SSD is never recognized in the software when I try to make a copy. Using both the button on the hardware to manually copy and the software generates an error that the Crucial SSD is not showing up. Even after checking if it was visible in the BIOS when connected via USB as a Crucial SSD, it was never cloned with the pack enabled. I've sent an email to support and haven't received a response yet. I was able to use this adapter to connect an SSD and a third-party paid tool to clone my source drive to the SSD and it worked fine. Not what I expected when I bought it.
