I liked the color and the finish made it even more special. The fabric is comfortable, dense artificial linen. It's simple and classic. You can dress it up or leave it as is. It has a way of repelling spills so you can get them wet without permanently staining the fabric, which I need with two young children. I wanted a fabric tablecloth with the lightness of a vinyl tablecloth. It needs to be washed but I love that you can just throw it in the washing machine and it still looks great.
