These are good beach and travel towels. They take up much less space than ordinary towels, dry very quickly, nothing sticks to them. We effortlessly wiped away sand, small leaves and sticks, and the occasional dirt as my kid decided his towel was best kept on the floor of our car while driving. The towels are durable and never smelled during a 3 week trip with infrequent washing. They are also good for day or night camping. Four stars only because they get dirty easily. (Which we don't really care about when hiking or going to the beach.)
