We bought these for Easter egg hunts and outdoor parties. We've been in the dark and we're going to use them in drinks in things. Luckily I was a bit skeptical and wouldn't let anyone use them in a drink. If someone dropped the glowing orb, it immediately swung open. At the end of the night my kids dropped the sachet into a pitcher of water for 1 minute. I threw them away and let them dry on paper towels overnight and the next morning they were completely leaking and corroded! DO NOT put them in water and definitely not in a drink! So dangerous that someone could get sick from it.
