This was not a direct bolt for my 2002 PT Cruiser. First, the kit did NOT include a header gasket; It's a steel gasket and the old one was in good condition so due to lack of time I cleaned it and reused it. Second, the header bracket didn't fit. The OEM got close, so with a vise and a large wrench I was able to bend it enough to get it working. Third, the two screws on the rear heat shield weren't long enough to hold the cable heat shield in place, so I reused the two old screws and tossed the new ones into the parts bin. Fourth and most annoying, the exhaust flanges are slightly taller than the OEM header and don't leave enough room to attach the power steering reservoir support bracket to the head - I had to sand the bracket to reattach it. It's on and working, but considering it takes an hour or two more to work, I'd pay 50% more for one that turns on instantly without that extra hassle.
